Right now
Every listing on this site is free. No builder has paid to be listed, to be ranked higher, or to have anything on their profile changed. Builders are listed only because their license passed our checks.
What we may offer builders later
To keep the site running we expect to offer licensed builders paid extras, such as a featured spot clearly labeled Sponsored, or a more complete profile with photos of their projects. If we do:
- Paid spots will always be labeled and kept apart from the verified list.
- The verified list stays ordered by years licensed. Money can't move a builder up it.
- A builder who fails our license checks can't buy a listing, sponsored or not.
- We'll update this page before anything paid goes live.
What we won't do
- Sell your phone number or email to builders. When you contact a builder, you contact them directly.
- Take a cut of your contract or a fee per job. California regulates referral payments in home improvement work, and we don't want any part of your contract.
- Write paid reviews or edit a builder's Google rating.
