Repairs and Remodels on Demand's ADU track record
We haven't found ADU permits under this company's name in the City of San Diego's open data. That's common when a designer or the homeowner pulls the permit, or when the work is in another city. Ask Repairs and Remodels on Demand for addresses of ADUs they've finished.
Why they're listed as an ADU builder: ADU work described on its website.
Before you sign with Repairs and Remodels on Demand
- Ask for the license number on the contract. It should read #927432 and the business name should match REPAIRS AND REMODELS ON DEMAND.
- Keep the deposit small. For home improvement contracts California caps the down payment at $1,000 or 10% of the price, whichever is less.
- Ask for a certificate of insurance. The state shows workers' comp with ENDURANCE ASSURANCE CORPORATION; ask for general liability too.
- Make sure they pull the permit. The contractor, not you, should apply for the building permit, so the city holds them responsible for the work.
